Meridian Business Support are recruiting for MIG Welders to work for our client based in Longton, Stoke on Trent
 
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join their team.
The Role This is a hands-on welding role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components in line with technical drawings and company standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • MIG  and TIG welding mild steel components
  • Working from engineering drawings and job specifications
  • Fabricating and assembling parts as required
  • Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
  • Supporting production targets and deadlines
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable with a positive and proactive attitude
Working Hours and Rate of pay
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm
  • £14.00 - £15.00 - 
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience
