Are you immediately available? Do you have welding experience? Are you local to Ipswich, Suffolk? We're currently looking for a welder for 2 months' work.
This role is offering a 4-day working week, Monday-Thursday!
Pay: Up to £17ph
Hours: 07:00-17:30
Duration: 2 months' work (chance of extending)
You'll be carrying out MIG welding on a variety of metal components and assemblies, working as part of a wider fabrication team.
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out MIG welding on metal components and assemblies
- Preparing and positioning materials ready for welding
- Reading basic engineering drawings and work instructions
- Carrying out basic fabrication and finishing work
- Inspecting completed welds and reporting any defects
- Keeping the workshop clean and organised
- Following all Health & Safety procedures
- Supporting the wider fabrication team with general duties
What We're Looking For:
- MIG welding experience
- Ability to follow basic engineering drawings and instructions
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking attitude
- Comfortable working in a busy workshop environment
