Key Responsibilities
As a MIG Welder, you will be responsible for welding mild steel and other materials in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications. The role involves preparing materials for welding by cutting, grinding and cleaning components before assembly, producing accurate and consistent welds, and inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards. You will safely operate welding equipment, fabrication machinery and hand tools while carrying out routine equipment checks and maintaining a clean, organised working environment. You will have a strong work ethic, a positive and proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting production deadlines. Flexibility and a willingness to support the wider production team when required are also important qualities for this role.
Benefits
The company offers a competitive salary, regular overtime opportunities, company pension scheme, on-site parking and full PPE. Ongoing training and development will be provided, along with the opportunity to secure permanent employment within a supportive and friendly working environment.
