Are you a Psychology or Education graduate eager to gain practical experience supporting young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)?

A Secondary School in Wantage is seeking a dedicated and caring MLD Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Therapists, Teaching Assistants, or Teachers.

As an MLD Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to students with Moderate Learning Difficulties.
• Help students develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and active participation in learning.
• Work alongside teachers and support staff to promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Observe and monitor students' progress, wellbeing, and engagement throughout the school day.

We're looking for an MLD Assistant who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic about supporting young people.
• A confident communicator with a genuine passion for working with students with additional needs.
• Interested in gaining practical experience before pursuing a career in psychology, education, or special educational needs.

• Pay: £93-£110 per day
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
• Contract: Full-time
