Our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a personable, confident and professional individual to fill the role of Mobile Corporate Receptionist within a busy and vibrant corporate environment.

Job Overview

As the first point of contact for visitors and employees, you will deliver an exceptional reception service, creating a welcoming and professional experience for everyone entering the workplace. The role requires strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining high standards at all times.

Working within a busy corporate environment, you will support the smooth day-to-day operation of reception services, ensuring all enquiries, visitors, and administrative tasks are managed efficiently and professionally. You will represent the organisation positively while adhering to established procedures and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a professional meet-and-greet service for visitors and employees, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out processes and issue passes in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate fire and safety procedures clearly to all visitors upon arrival.
  • Maintain high front-of-house standards and ensure reception areas remain presentable at all times.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails in line with service level agreements and provide accurate information.
  • Operate the switchboard in a warm, confident, and professional manner.
  • Manage meeting room bookings and set-ups, ensuring rooms are clean and prepared to the required standard.
  • Monitor reception for security risks, report suspicious activity, and support evacuation procedures when required.

Person Specification

  • Background in the hotel or hospitality industry preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while remaining focused, motivated, and proactive.
  • Able to use initiative and exercise sound judgement when dealing with day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Efficient, professional, and courteous approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Experience delivering reception services within a busy corporate environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to respond to enquiries and messages from visitors and staff in a timely, friendly, and helpful manner.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of service while embracing change and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
