Mobile Electrical Engineer North of the UK – Multiple Airport Sites
Leading Facilities Management Provider | Aviation Maintenance Contract

£45,000 + £125 Standby Rate + Overtime + Company Van & Fuel Card
We’re looking for a qualified Level 3 Electrical Engineer with 2391 Inspection & Testing to join a leading Facilities Management (FM) provider, supporting one of our exciting new aviation maintenance contracts.

Role Overview As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned, reactive and preventative electrical maintenance across a portfolio of major airports throughout the UK.

  • Manchester 
  • East Midlands 
  • Humberside
  • Leeds / Bradford 
  • Liverpool 
  • Birmingham 
  • Newcastle 
  • Glasgow 
  • Edinburgh 
What you’ll be doing
  • Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
  • Conducting electrical inspection and testing in line with current regulations
  • Completing EICRs and other electrical certification where required
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults safely and efficiently
  • Supporting the wider FM team to ensure critical airport facilities remain operational
  • Responding to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requirements
  • Ensuring all works are completed to the required health, safety and compliance standards
  • Completing accurate maintenance records, reports and certification
  • Working closely with clients, subcontractors and site teams
  • Participating in the 1-in-5 call-out rota once fully inducted
What we’re looking for
  • Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
  • Strong commercial electrical maintenance experience
  • Proven experience in electrical testing, inspection and fault finding
  • Good knowledge of current electrical regulations
  • Previous experience within an FM, commercial, critical or aviation environment is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel extensively between sites
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and proactive approach
  • Willingness to participate in a 1-in-5 call-out rota
