Salary: £32,700 - £35,900 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Overtime: Available as and when required
Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, employee-focused company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for a field-based role with a competitive salary, great benefits, and long-term career prospects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Completing planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs
- Conducting safety inspections and ensuring equipment remains compliant
- Completing accurate service reports and job documentation
- Managing your workload efficiently while delivering excellent customer service
- Liaising with the parts department to ensure the correct components are sourced and fitted
- Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or Powered Access Engineer is preferred
- Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Candidates must be based within the DG, KA, PA, and G postcode areas
- Basic Salary: £32,700 - £35,900 (dependent on experience)
- 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)
- Overtime available as required
- 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 days with service
