We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair a range of materials handling equipment. You’ll play an important role in keeping equipment safe, reliable and operational for customers.
The role will involve working on-site with customers, identifying faults, carrying out repairs and completing routine inspections and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair materials handling equipment, including forklifts, side loaders and reach trucks.
- Diagnose faults and identify potential repairs to maximise equipment reliability and uptime.
- Complete service records, job sheets, parts orders and warranty work accurately.
- Provide a professional and high-quality service to customers.
- Plan and book scheduled maintenance with customers.
- Prioritise and manage your workload effectively.
- Ensure chargeable work and scheduled servicing are completed within agreed timescales.
- Maintain regular communication with the service team regarding completed work, estimates, damage reports and outstanding jobs.
- Carry out lifting equipment inspections when required.
- Carry out PAT testing when required.
- Follow all site health and safety requirements and wear the appropriate PPE at all times.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required as part of the role.
