Mobile Forklift Engineer

Marble Talent Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and growing materials handling business, covering customers across the North East. 

As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will travel to customer sites across the North East, carrying out servicing, planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and fault finding on a range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.

Key responsibilities - 

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
• Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and safety inspections.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise customer downtime.
• Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Identify parts requirements and order parts when required.
• Build strong working relationships with customers.
• Manage your own diary and workload.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Personal Requirements - 

• Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.
• Previous experience working on forklift trucks or materials handling equipment.
• Good knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A professional, reliable and proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary - £35-40k DOE
