Mobile HGV Technician - Breakdown & Roadside

Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic looking for a mobile role with a company van and flexible working hours?

We're looking for a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to cover the Leicester and surrounding areas, carrying out HGV breakdown, roadside repairs, servicing, maintenance and diagnostics.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technician who enjoys working independently, solving faults and getting commercial vehicles safely back on the road.

The Role
·Attend HGV breakdowns across Leicester and surrounding areas
·Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
·Carry out roadside repairs and vehicle recovery work
·Complete servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
·Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently
·Carry out repairs to a high standard
·Complete accurate job reports and vehicle records
·Manage your own workload while delivering excellent customer service
·Follow all Health & Safety and manufacturer procedures

About You
We're looking for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician, HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician with:
·Proven HGV repair and maintenance experience
·Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
·Experience with HGV breakdowns or roadside repairs
·Good electrical and electronic fault-finding ability
·Relevant HGV qualifications and/or manufacturer accreditations
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
·Professional approach and good customer service skills

Salary will depend on your experience, qualifications and relevant accreditations.

Flexible Working Hours

Start and finish times are negotiable.

The working hours can be discussed during the interview, giving the successful candidate the opportunity to agree a suitable working pattern around the requirements of the role.
