Mobile HGV TechnicianAre you an experienced Mobile HGV Technician looking for a field-based role that offers excellent earning potential, a company van and a genuine work-life balance?
We're looking for a skilled Mobile HGV Technician to cover Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles at customer sites.
What's on Offer
  • Up to £24.00 per hour
  • Monday to Friday working only
  • 45-hour working week
  • Flexible start times:
    • 6:00am – 3:30pm
    • 7:00am – 4:30pm
    • 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • Company van provided
  • Optional Saturday morning overtime available

The RoleAs a Mobile HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and inspections on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Completing MOT preparation work
  • Travelling to customer sites across Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with DVSA standards
  • Completing job cards and service documentation accurately
  • Delivering excellent customer service while working independently
RequirementsTo be successful as a Mobile HGV Technician, you will have:
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working on HGVs, trucks or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
  • A professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
