Location: Northamptonshire and surrounding areas
Hours: Monday to Friday - 45hr week
Salary: Up to £24.00 per hour | £56,160 Basic Salary

Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a mobile role that offers excellent earning potential, a company van, and a great work-life balance?

We're recruiting for a Mobile HGV Technician to cover the Northamptonshire area, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles at customer sites.

What's on Offer
  • Up to £24.00 per hour
  • £56,160 basic salary
  • 45-hour working week
  • Monday to Friday only
  • Flexible start times to suit your lifestyle:
    • 6:00am – 3:30pm
    • 7:00am – 4:30pm
    • 8:00am – 5:30pm
  • Company van supplied
  • Optional Saturday morning overtime available

The Role As a Mobile HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and inspections
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing MOT preparation work
  • Attending customer sites across Northamptonshire
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to DVSA standards
  • Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork
What We're Looking For
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Experience working on HGVs, trucks or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
  • A positive attitude with excellent customer service skills
