Mobile HGV Technician

We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician to cover the Thetford and Norfolk area. Applicants must have previous HGV maintenance and repair experience, hold a Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and a Full Class 2 manual driving licence. Applicants must also have the right to work in the UK.
Location: Thetford / Norfolk
Salary: 40-42k + Signing Bonus & Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week – No weekends

- Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles at customer locations
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults
- Carry out mobile maintenance and repair work
- Prepare commercial vehicles for MOT inspections
- Ensure vehicles meet required safety and quality standards
- Complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Support workshop operations when required
- Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician or Heavy Vehicle Technician
- Strong HGV diagnostic, maintenance and repair skills
- Full Class 2 UK, Irish or EU Manual Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to pass the required security checks, including financial probity and basic criminality checks
