We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile HGV Trailer Technician based in Widnes, Cheshire. This is an excellent Mobile HGV Trailer Technician opportunity for experienced trailer technicians seeking a mobile role within a reputable company. The successful individual will join a well-established leader in commercial vehicle services, committed to delivering high-quality trailer maintenance, repair, and refurbishment solutions across the UK.

  • Working hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Duties of a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician:
  • Conducting repairs on trailers in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
  • Fault diagnosis and reporting defects accurately
  • Carrying out MOT preparation and checks
  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean and equipment returned to designated locations
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Providing exceptional customer service when liaising with clients on-site
Requirements of a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Trailer or HGV Technician
  • Hands-on experience with trailers, including tail lifts and curtain siders
  • Full UK driving license is beneficial but not essential
  • Relevant Level 2/3 automotive qualifications or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Flexible and able to prioritise multi-tasking effectively
