Mobile HVAC Engineer

Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: £45,000 + Diesel Van/Fuel Card
Hours: Monday–Friday | 7.30am – 5pm (includes travel time) + On-Call + Regular Overtime
Location: Basildon-based | Mobile across London, Essex & Norfolk

Our client, a leading provider of integrated facilities management and infrastructure solutions is hiring for an experienced Mobile HVAC Engineer to join a dedicated facilities team supporting a national Shell forecourt contract.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs across commercial sites throughout London, Essex and Norfolk. This is a varied mobile role covering a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems, with the support of an established engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out PPMs, servicing and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
• Fault find, diagnose and repair a range of AC and HVAC systems.
• Work on Splits, VRF/VRV, AHUs, DX systems and associated plant.
• Complete remedial works, system upgrades and replacements.
• Carry out basic electrical fault finding.
• Complete F-Gas documentation and maintain accurate job records.
• Provide professional customer service across Shell forecourt locations.
• Work independently while supporting other engineers and subcontractors when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial Air Conditioning/HVAC Engineer.
• Level 2 Air Conditioning & Refrigeration – essential.
• F-Gas Category 1 – essential.
• Strong experience with commercial AC systems, ideally including VRF/VRV.
• Good mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• 18th Edition desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
