Hours: 40 hours per week, Mon - Fri 8am to 4.30pm

What you'll be doing:

  • Execute planned maintenance work per Services Manager schedule, site policies/procedures, and during maintenance shutdowns as required.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults as directed by site supervisors, supporting equipment reliability.
  • Complete and maintain documentation/CMMS records, ensuring equipment data, spares, task lists, and man-hours are accurate and up to date (before/after tasks).
  • Ensure safety and compliance by following site/Veolia EHS rules, conducting risk assessments, and adhering to statutory requirements.
  • Review and improve maintenance procedures by keeping EWI/SOPs current, validating task steps, and refining PM content to remove non-value activities/duplication.
  • Coordinate with others by liaising with subcontractors and participating in plant audits, including closing out resulting actions.
  • Support performance and efficiency by reviewing maintenance KPI data (e.g., spares cost, paperwork, PM:CM ratio, man-hours, reliability trends), maximising wrench time through effective planning, and keeping tools/equipment in good condition.




What we're looking for:

  • City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) or equivalent, with hands-on experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of utilities systems, mechanical and electrical systems, P&ID/electrical drawings, and basic instrumentation
  • Proficiency with Preventive Maintenance Systems, Computerised Maintenance Management Work Orders, and Permit to Work procedures
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems with strong analytical and methodical approach to complex issues
  • Computer literate with ability to understand and work within SOPs and technical documentation
  • Team player with strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and good initiative in approach to duties
