Location: Mobile / South East & East of England / HS2

Overview:

Unify are thrilled to be recruiting for a Mobile Plant Fitter to join an established Construction Plant business. The role involves maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of construction plant equipment across the East and South East, with occasional visits to HS2 sites

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostic checks on plant machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues effectively and efficiently
  • Examine machinery before dispatch and upon return to ensure readiness and safety
  • Set up and test plant attachments, ensuring compatibility and functionality
  • Conduct fluid monitoring, replenishment and regular lubricant.
  • Inspections and preparation of plant machinery for deployment and transfers
  • Perform servicing in line with manufacturers' specifications and standards

What do I need?

  • Strong background in plant or construction equipment maintenance.
  • Strong organisational, time keeping and communication skills
  • NVQ in plant mechanics or similar or CSCS card holder
  • Keen attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to tasks.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours- 

Monday - Friday, 42.5 hours per week with overtime available
