Mobile Plant Fitter

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 basic + Door-to-Door Pay + Overtime
Location: Telford, Shropshire
Hours: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Position: Full-time, Permanent
Start: Immediate start available for the right person

We're recruiting an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter for an established groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Telford.

The company works across residential developments throughout the Midlands, with its own plant and machinery supporting groundworks and civil engineering projects.

With continued growth comes the need to keep that equipment working, and they're looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter who knows their way around construction machinery and can get things running again when something goes wrong.

The Role

Working from the company's head depot in Telford, you'll be out on sites maintaining, servicing and repairing construction plant and machinery.

You'll have a company van and fuel card, with door-to-door pay on top of your basic salary. There's also the opportunity for Saturday work, with any Saturday worked up to 2pm paid as a full shift.

What We're Looking For

• Experience servicing and repairing construction plant and machinery

• Confident diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults

• Able to work independently as a mobile fitter

• Experience maintaining company vans would be useful

• A reliable, practical approach to getting machinery back to work

Salary & Benefits

£40,000 - £60,000 basic salary, depending on experience, with door-to-door pay and overtime on top.

Company van and fuel card provided, with working hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm and the benefit of a full shift's pay for Saturdays worked until 2pm.

A permanent position with an established contractor, varied machinery to work on and an immediate start available for the right person.
