Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
An established plant and access equipment business is looking for an Electrically Biased Plant Service Engineer to join its growing engineering team.
You will service, maintain and repair a range of plant machinery, access platforms and MEWPs, working both in the workshop and at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Service and maintain access platforms, scissor lifts, boom lifts and plant equipment
- Carry out routine maintenance and preventative servicing
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
- Support breakdowns and on-site repairs
- Ensure all work meets relevant safety and industry standards
Requirements
- Experience working as a Plant, Access Platform or MEWP Service Engineer
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of hydraulics, control systems and mechanical systems
- Experience with powered access equipment is highly desirable
- LOLER inspection experience would be advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
