our client, a leading provider of facilities services in the UK, is seeking a Mobile Support Cleaner responsible for recovery cleaning operations across an allocated portfolio in line with their Sector Manager’s area.

This role is focused on delivering consistent, high-quality cleaning support across multiple sites, ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) are met and client expectations are exceeded. The position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently across a regional remit.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational standards, providing cover and specialist cleaning where required, and supporting front-line teams. Regular travel across the Greater Manchester area is required, alongside a proactive and responsive approach to changing priorities.

Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts between 07:00 – 22:00, as allocated by the Sector Manager.

Job Description

This role requires an individual who can ensure full delivery to client SLAs through strong contract knowledge, flexibility, and attention to detail. The position involves regional travel and a proactive approach to supporting cleaning operations and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver cleaning operations across multiple sites within the allocated portfolio
  • Respond promptly to requests from the Sector Manager
  • Complete periodic and specialist cleaning tasks in line with client specifications
  • Adhere to all client-specific security procedures and site protocols
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with client representatives and internal teams
  • Ensure knowledge of opening and lock-up procedures across all assigned sites
  • Accurately record site visits using communication books and time and attendance systems
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning materials, escalating issues when required

Person Specification

  • Previous experience within cleaning or facilities services roles
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support front-line colleagues
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage client expectations
  • Good problem-solving skills, particularly when working with remote teams
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude to work
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Professional approach to building relationships with stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ownership of responsibilities
  • Full UK driving licence required for regional travel
