We are seeking a Mobile Tool Calibration Technician/Engineer to join our client's team in Nottingham. This Mobile Tool Calibration Technician role offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000, dependent on experience, along with performance bonuses for generating new business. The Mobile Tool Calibration Technician position provides an excellent opportunity for experienced automotive technicians to diversify their career, working outside the workshop environment while still engaging with familiar automotive tools and equipment.

Duties of a Mobile Tool Calibration Technician:
  • Travel to various client sites within Nottingham
  • Liaise professionally with site contacts
  • Calibrate, adjust, and repair workshop and automotive test equipment
  • Produce calibration certificates upon job completion
  • Log all work performed accurately
  • Complete tasks independently after initial training and shadowing
  • Maintain a professional and responsible approach to all duties
  • Occasionally stay overnight away from home when required
Requirements of a Mobile Tool Calibration Technician: 
  • Practical mindset with good attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Basic IT skills to log work via tablet or phone
  • Responsible and trustworthy, able to work independently
  • Flexible with working hours
  • Previous experience in automotive technician roles is desirable, though practical skills and attention to detail are the most important qualities
