The Role

As a Mobile Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair and maintenance of trailers, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard and remain safe, reliable and roadworthy.

The role will involve working independently while providing a professional service, carrying out preventative maintenance and diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Complete repairs to a high standard
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Ensure trailers meet relevant safety and compliance standards
• Work independently while delivering a professional service

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Trailer Mechanic, HGV Technician or similar
• Strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience
• Experience working on trailers is highly desirable
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs effectively
• A professional and reliable approach to work
• Full UK driving licence
