Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Are you a skilled technician with a strong mechanical background and experience working with commercial vehicles?

Our client, a well-established provider of transport refrigeration equipment is looking for a for a Mobile Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join their team.

You will travel across your allocated area, carrying out servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a customer fleet. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, become multi skilled and play an important role in keeping vehicles safe, reliable and operational.

Key Responsivities:

• Carry out servicing, preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Attend customer sites to complete inspections, repairs and maintenance
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Complete job cards, service records and timesheets accurately
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
• Support continuous improvement across mobile operations
• Complete relevant training to become multi skilled

Who They’re Looking For:

• Mechanical or commercial vehicle experience
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge
• Fault finding and diagnostic experience
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Electrical knowledge and ability to read wiring diagrams, desirable
• Computer literate
• Full UK driving licence - essential
• Flexible in working overtime when required
• Able to participate in early shift pattern
