Our client, a reputable automotive business based in Northampton, is seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their growing team. Duties:
  • Travel to customer locations to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately.
  • Work on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
  • Complete warranty repairs as required.
  • Conduct vehicle health checks and advise customers on additional work.
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, acting as a professional ambassador.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and service records meticulously.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers within the local area.
  • Manage own workload independently and effectively.
Requirements for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role:
  • Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience working on both passenger vehicles and LCVs is beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently with a professional attitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Pride in delivering high-quality workmanship with a positive mindset.
