We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive fleet maintenance company established nationwide since 2008, for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Cheshire.

The Mobile Vehicle Technician role offers the chance to work across a broad spectrum of vehicles, including high-end models such as Jaguar and Land Rover, with a focus on DPF specialist work, fleet maintenance, and roadside assistance. The successful individual will operate in a support-driven environment, contributing to the efficient servicing and repair of client fleets.

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out on-site repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on fleet vehicles across Cheshire and surrounding areas
  • Provide roadside assistance and emergency call-outs, ensuring minimal vehicle downtime
  • Conduct DPF diagnostics, cleaning, and repairs, with specialisation in Jaguar and Land Rover models
  • Complete vehicle inspections, servicing, and MOT preparation in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds certification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair; time-served technicians without formal qualifications will be considered based on experience
  • Demonstrable diagnostic and mechanical skills across a range of vehicle makes and models
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Previous experience working with fleet vehicles or high-end marques is desirable but not essential
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a mobile role
