We are currently working with a reputable UK-wide recovery business that is seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their team in the Bournemouth area. This role offers a dynamic environment where technicians will diagnose and repair vehicles at customer locations, providing a flexible alternative to traditional garage work.
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician who is adept at electrical systems, diagnostics, and general vehicle repairs. The successful individual will enjoy a role that combines independence, variety, and professional support, all within a well-structured organisation.
Key benefits for the successful Mobile Vehicle Technician:
- Basic salary of £40,178, with OTE of up to £52,000 per annum including bonuses and overtime
- Guaranteed overtime, enhancing earning potential
- 40-hour week with flexible Monday to Friday hours; 1 in 4 Saturdays (weekday off when Saturday worked)

- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles at customer sites
- Performing electrical and diagnostic work as needed
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to high standards
- Communicating effectively with customers and team members
- Maintaining accurate records of repairs and parts used
- Managing your schedule to optimise daily routes and appointments
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Minimum of Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years' post-qualification experience
- Strong electrical and diagnostic skills
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Experience in breakdown or mobile repair environment would be advantageous but is not essential
