Manchester | £30,000–£35,000 DOE | Hybrid working

You’re good at keeping cases moving. Is your career moving with them?

If you’re working in mortgage administration, second charge lending or another FCA-regulated role, you’ve already built skills that matter here: managing deadlines, getting the details right and keeping customers reassured.

We’re recruiting for a Case Manager role within a growing secured lending team in Manchester. With specialist training, experienced colleagues and investment in your development, you’ll have support to build your knowledge—not an expectation that you’ll arrive knowing everything.

Package & Benefits
  • £30,000–£35,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Monday–Friday, with an early Friday finish and no weekends.
  • 25 days’ holiday, plus an additional birthday day off.
  • Private healthcare and dental cover, including mental health support.
  • Life assurance and up to 4% matched pension contributions.
  • Structured training, leadership-led development and a career growth plan.
  • Access to financial coaching, free breakfast and snacks, and sports and social clubs.
About the Company

Our client is an established secured lending business that has experienced significant growth, supported by the backing of a major financial services group. You’ll join an experienced Manchester team with strong lender relationships and continued investment in technology and training. It’s an opportunity to develop specialist lending expertise within a business that’s moving forward. The environment is busy and collaborative - well suited to someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and seeing their work turn into completed cases and happy customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage secured loan applications from initial packaging through to payout.
  • Review income, employment, credit and property information, spotting gaps before they cause delays.
  • Work with customers, lenders and advisers to obtain documents and resolve queries.
  • Keep customers informed, explaining what’s happening and what’s needed next.
  • Maintain accurate, compliant case files while managing deadlines and targets.
  • Suggest practical improvements that make the process smoother for customers and colleagues.
About You Second charge experience is welcome, but it isn’t the only route into this role.

You’ll bring experience in mortgage administration, second charge loan processing or another FCA-regulated environment, alongside:
  • Experience managing a busy workload in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines.
  • A proactive approach - you’re happy to pick up the phone and find an answer.
  • Attention to detail without losing sight of the person behind the application.
  • Confidence working towards targets while delivering excellent customer service.
You don’t need to know every lender’s criteria on day one. Bring relevant experience, ownership and a willingness to learn, and there’s support to build the rest.
