MOT Technician role for a growing automotive service centre, suited to an experienced professional who takes pride in high-quality workmanship, safety and excellent customer service. Must have a valid MOT Licence and a full UK driving licence.

Location: Banbury
Pay / salary: up to £38,000 basic per annum plus bonus and overtime
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, 1 in 2 Saturdays, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Skills and experience
•    A formal NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 automotive qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
•    At least few years working as a skilled mechanic on relevant vehicle repairs.
•    A valid DVSA MOT Licence / Level 2 Award in MOT

Job Responsibilities for the MOT Technician role
•    Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA requirements, company guidelines and centre procedures.
•    Complete mechanical repairs, servicing and fast-fit work including tyres, brakes, exhausts and suspension components.
•    Use wheel alignment equipment, interpret results and make relevant adjustments where required.
•    Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately and to a high standard while maintaining a clean and professional work area.
