We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent garage centre located in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, for the position of MOT Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated professional to join a well-established workshop.

  • Salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  • Competitive hourly rates for qualified technicians
  • Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 6.00pm; Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
  • Mixture of servicing, diagnostics, and MOT repairs

Duties of the MOT Technician:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Perform Class 4 & 7 MOT testing in accordance with DVSA regulations
  • Complete work to manufacturer standards and within allocated timeframes
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold the garage’s good reputation
Requirements of the MOT Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Valid Class 4 & 7 MOT license
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proven experience in vehicle servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
  • Motivated to develop technical skills and knowledge
