We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved dealership located in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, for the position of an MOT Technician. Duties of an MOT Technician:
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs adhering to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Perform MOT tests on customers’ vehicles in compliance with Ministry of Transport regulations
  • Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle conditions to the Service Manager
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and quality standards
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship in a fast-paced environment as an MOT Technician
  • Contribute towards achieving team targets and customer satisfaction
Requirements of an MOT Technician:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Valid MOT licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs within a dealership environment
  • Strong commitment to quality work and safety procedures
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and motivation to meet targets
  • Residing within reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham
