Our client, a reputable multi-franchise car dealer group established across England, is seeking an experienced and professional MOT Technician for their busy dealership in Hereford.   • Regular working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour lunch break

Duties of a MOT Technician:
  • Carrying out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Conducting MOT tests on customers’ vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
  • Diagnosing faults accurately and reporting vehicle condition, safety, and performance issues
  • Ensuring adherence to quality, health, and safety procedures
  • Capturing detailed reports on vehicle safety, reliability, and roadworthiness
  • Working efficiently within a team to meet targets and service deadlines
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship in a busy environment
Requirements of a MOT Technician:
  • Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Valid MOT licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience with fault diagnosis and vehicle repairs
  • Capable of delivering high-quality work under pressure
  • Good team player with a strong work ethic
  • Commute within reasonable distance of Hereford
  • Motivated individual committed to continuous professional development
