We are currently recruiting for the position of MOT Technician in Southam, Warwickshire, on behalf of our client, a rapidly expanding automotive service provider. This opportunity is ideal for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking a stable role with progression prospects.

  • Salary between £32,000 and £36,000 per annum
  • 42.5-hour weekly contract, working five days with a weekday off when working a Saturday

Duties of the MOT Technician:
  • Carrying out MOT tests and comprehensive vehicle inspections
  • Performing vehicle servicing and repairs across various makes and models
  • Conducting wheel alignments and general workshop tasks as the MOT Technician
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism
  • Ensuring tools, equipment, and workshop areas are well maintained
  • Upholding the company's image by delivering excellent customer service and communication
  • Supporting other workshop functions as required
Requirements of the MOT Technician:
  • Valid MOT Tester Licence
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostics skills 
  • Positive attitude with a motivation to enhance technical expertise
  • Ability to carry out wheel alignments and other workshop duties to a high standard
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
