We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a MOT Technician at their well-established independent garage in Huddersfield. The successful individual will join a reputable team in a workshop known for its positive working environment and exceptional customer service. This is an excellent MOT Technician opportunity for both experienced and junior technicians who are passionate about automotive repair and maintenance.

Duties of a MOT Technician:
  • Undertake maintenance, servicing, and repair activities on a wide range of vehicles, including prestige models
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal and manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently as a MOT Technician
  • Keep comprehensive records of work carried out and parts used
  • Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet high standards of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and industry standards
Requirements of a MOT Technician:
  • A strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics, with a desire to learn and develop further
  • Ability to carry out servicing, repairs, and MOT testing confidently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ideally, local to Huddersfield to facilitate easy access to the workshop
  • A team player with a professional attitude committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, provided the right attitude and aptitude
