We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of MOT Tester / Service Technician at their established independent garage in Redbourn, Hertfordshire. This role offers an excellent MOT Tester / Service Technicianopportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable team in a friendly, family-run environment.

Benefits:
  • Up to £40,000 salary depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 5:30 pm
  • One in three Saturdays, 8:15 am – 12:30 pm
  • Supportive work environment with ongoing training and development

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT testing in accordance with legal and manufacturer guidelines
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and inspections
  • Assist in diagnosing vehicle faults and providing effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work carried out
  • Ensure all work meets high safety and compliance standards
  • Work efficiently to meet daily targets and customer expectations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester / Service Technician
  • Valid MOT Tester certification
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and servicing procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented approach
