We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer, for the position of MOT Technician in Westbury, Wiltshire. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional seeking to join a reputable and expanding company.

  • Stable work schedule: 42.5 hours per week over a guaranteed five-day week, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm, and one in two Saturdays 8:00am-4:00pm (with a day off during the week when working a Saturday)
Duties of the MOT Technician:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with Ministry standards
  • Diagnose and repair a range of vehicle issues
  • Assist with routine servicing and maintenance tasks
  • Provide workshop support as required to ensure efficient operation
  • Occasionally assist at the front reception with customer inquiries
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship within established timeframes
Requirements of the MOT Technician:
  • Proven experience and background as a MOT Technician 
  • Current MOT certification and UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to produce high-quality work consistently
  • Friendly, approachable manner suitable for customer engagement and teamwork
  • Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Westbury, Wiltshire
  • Apprenticeship or relevant technical training in vehicle maintenance and repairs
