We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established independent garage in Wimbledon for a Technician & MOT Tester. This is a fantastic Technician & MOT Tester opportunity for experienced vehicle technicians seeking a role with excellent earning potential and career development prospects. Duties:
  • Conduct vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to high standards
  • Perform MOT tests in compliance with DVSA regulations (if qualified)
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting customer and business expectations
  • Liaise with the service team to provide accurate updates on vehicle repairs
  • Maintain high workshop standards and adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Support continuous team development through sharing technical knowledge and best practices
Requirements:
  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • MOT Testing License is desirable but not essential; the employer is willing to support the right Technician & MOT Tester through the licensing process
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining professional standards
