THE ROLE
As an MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT testing, servicing and repair work to a high standard while ensuring excellent quality and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
·Completing servicing, maintenance and repair work where required
·Identifying and reporting any additional work necessary
·Communicating test results and repair requirements with the Service Reception and Workshop Control teams
·Carrying out quality inspections and ensuring work meets required standards
·Maintaining up-to-date product and technical knowledge
·Delivering excellent standards of customer service
·Maintaining accurate administration and documentation
·Keeping your working area clean, organised and safe
 
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician with:
·Previous experience working as an MOT Tester
·NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
·A valid MOT Testing Licence - Class 4 & 7
·Strong attention to detail and quality standards
·A thorough and methodical approach to work
·The ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
·Good communication and teamwork skills
·A flexible and proactive attitude
·A full UK Driving Licence
