We are looking for an MOT Tester for our Clients, a well-established automotive business, located in Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable team that offers competitive salary packages.

The salary of this role is up to £40,000 Basic Salary Rising To £45,000 After Probation

 Duties of an MOT Tester:
  • Conduct comprehensive MOT tests in accordance with current regulations
  • Inspect and assess vehicle safety and emissions to ensure compliance
  • Record and document test results meticulously as an MOT Tester
  • Advise customers on repairs and maintenance where necessary
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety during all testing procedures 
Requirements:
  • Proof of MOT testing certification or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience as an MOT Tester within a motor trade environment
  • Knowledge of current MOT testing legislation and procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
