Duties of a MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in compliance with legal and industry standards
  • Perform vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out as an MOT Tester
  • Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and professionalism
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings effectively
  • Assist in general workshop duties as required
  • Stay updated with the latest MOT regulations and testing procedures
  • Contribute to a clean and safe workshop environment
Requirements of a MOT Tester:
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid Class 4/7 MOT Licence
  • Proven experience carrying out MOT tests within an automotive environment
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively within a busy team
