Duties of the MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines
  • Diagnose vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Complete accurate reports on vehicle condition and work recommendations
  • Communicate test results and repair suggestions effectively to the Service Reception team
  • Maintain vehicle and workshop safety standards
  • Contribute to a professional, car-focused team environment
  • Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and fault repairs
  • Ensure a clean and safe workshop environment at all times
Requirements of the MOT Tester:
  • Valid VOSA MOT accreditation with a minimum of two years' experience
  • Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Repair and Maintenance
  • Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work efficiently within set timescales and meet targets
  • Professional attitude and high standards of work
