We are seeking a qualified and experienced MOT Tester to join our client's reputable dealership in Wantage, Oxfordshire. This MOT Tester role offers excellent career progression within a well-established, family-owned business committed to staff development and customer satisfaction.

Duties of an MOT Tester:
  • Carry out MOT tests on customer vehicles in accordance with Ministry standards
  • Diagnose vehicle issues and perform associated servicing and repairs
  • Complete accurate reports and documentation for each vehicle tested
  • Support workshop activities to maintain an efficient workflow
  • Liaise effectively with team members to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Follow health and safety protocols and maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation
Requirements of an MOT Tester:
  • Active Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence
  • Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Alternatively, significant practical experience in vehicle repair and maintenance with an active MOT licence
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am-12:30pm)
