We’re looking to expand our team with a skilled Mechanic/Auto Electrician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, restore, and customize both classic and modern vehicles
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues across all makes and models
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a mechanic and auto electrician
  • Strong knowledge of both classic and modern vehicles
  • Ability to start immediately
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Duties

  • Diagnose and repair automotive issues using appropriate tools and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for repairs and assembly
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed on each vehicle
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating findings and recommendations clearly
  • Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Carry out equipment repairs as needed, including welding tasks when required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems
  • Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for vehicle repair
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to perform maintenance tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport with clients
  • Capability to handle heavy lifting as part of the job requirements
  • Welding experience is a plus but not mandatory
