We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable motorcycle dealership in Cannock, for the position of Motorcycle Technician. This opportunity is ideal for experienced motorcycle technicians seeking a role within a well-established, customer-focused environment. Duties:
  • Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing motorcycles following manufacturer specifications
  • Conducting detailed inspections to identify faults, damages, and potential issues
  • Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tyre rotations
  • Using diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately detect electrical and mechanical faults
  • Communicating effectively with customers about repairs and maintenance needs
  • Ordering parts and components required for repairs
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized workshop environment
  • Keeping up to date with new technologies, techniques, and industry developments
  • Adhering to all safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • NVQ/IMI Level 2 qualification in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair preferred
  • Alternatively, 2-3 years' practical experience working on motorcycles
  • A valid UK motorcycle driving license with minimal points
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team and independently
