We are hiring - Mould Technician

Our client, a leading global manufacturer is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Mould Technician to join their growing manufacturing team.

Rotating Shift - 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm

Key Responsibilities

• Safely remove and install compression mould tools on hydraulic presses up to 1200 tonnes.
• Set and commission moulds to achieve first-off quality approval.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, tooling drawings and production specifications.
• Support Production and Quality teams in resolving moulding defects.
• Carry out routine preventative maintenance and inspections on mould tooling.
• Maintain tooling to a high standard, ensuring correct cleaning and storage procedures are followed.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures including LOTOTO, lifting operations and permit systems.
• Support machinery maintenance and planned preventative maintenance activities.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience setting and changing industrial mould tools.
• Mechanical fitting or mechanical engineering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience fault-finding and resolving manufacturing process issues.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Previous manufacturing or engineering experience.
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence (essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable, flexible and capable of working under pressure.
