MRP System Manager

About the Role
An established engineering and manufacturing business is looking for an experienced MRP System Manager to lead the implementation, optimisation and ongoing management of its ERP/MRP system.
Working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Production and Finance, you will ensure the integrity of manufacturing data, improve business processes and drive operational efficiency across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the ERP/MRP system.
- Manage day-to-day system performance, user support and data integrity.
- Maintain Bills of Materials, routings, part master data and engineering changes.
- Monitor inventory and manufacturing processes from procurement through to despatch.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards and operational reports.
- Analyse manufacturing costs and investigate variances.
- Identify process improvements and lead system enhancement projects.
- Work collaboratively with Engineering, Production, Procurement and Finance.
- Train and support users to maximise system effectiveness.
- Lead and develop members of the team.
About You
You'll have previous experience managing ERP/MRP systems within an engineering or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production planning, Bills of Materials, manufacturing routings and inventory control.
You'll be commercially aware, highly organised and confident analysing data to improve operational performance. You will also be comfortable working across multiple departments, managing projects and supporting users throughout the business.
Experience with Sicon Manufacturing or similar ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous, as would knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and project management. A relevant qualification is desirable but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.
