MTFP Accountant

I am currently recruiting for an MTFP Accountant for a 6-month contract paying £550 per day, to work within a local authority.

Key requirements:

• Strong Local Government Finance experience, particularly budget setting, financial planning and management accounting.
• Extensive Medium Term Financial Planning (MTFP) experience, including developing and maintaining an MTFP collaboratively with another accountant.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with Finance, services and senior management and provide constructive challenge.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel and financial modelling.
• Ability to analyse complex financial information, identify risks and develop practical solutions.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to work independently in a changing Local Government environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create a clear, consistent financial narrative across the organisation
