Our client, a well-established FMCG food distribution business, is looking to recruit experienced Multi-Drop Van Drivers to join their team based at their Enfield site. This is a permanent opportunity for reliable drivers with proven experience within food distribution environments.
You will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries, ensuring goods are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining high standards of customer service. Deliveries are predominantly made across Central London and surrounding areas, so previous experience driving within busy city environments is essential.
This role requires commitment to a consistent working pattern of 5 days from 6,including Saturdays as part of the rota (no Sunday working).
As the Multi-Drop Van Driver, you will:
- Complete multi-drop deliveries within food distribution environments
- Deliver predominantly across Central London and surrounding areas
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks before and after shifts
- Ensure all deliveries are completed within agreed timeframes
- Maintain high levels of customer service at delivery points
- Follow all road safety, compliance, and company procedures
- Handle food products safely and in line with company standards
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within a relevant multi-drop van driving role
- Previous experience within food distribution
- Strong and proven multi-drop van delivery background (not ad-hoc or occasional delivery work)
- Previous experience driving regularly within Central London is essential
- Experience delivering temperature-controlled products would be highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points preferred)
- Comfortable with early starts (05:30am – 07:30am)
- Able to work 5 from 6 days per week (including Saturdays, no Sundays)
- Good timekeeping, reliability, and customer-facing communication skills
- Physically fit due to manual handling requirements
- Must be based within a commutable distance of Enfield
- £14.44 per hour
- Permanent full-time position
- Company 3.5 tonne van provided
- Consistent weekly rota (5 from 6 days)
- Early start / early finish structure
- Stable working environment within a busy food distribution operation
