Ballantine Recruitment has been appointed to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing group.

The Role

Working across a modern manufacturing facility, you'll play a vital role in ensuring production equipment remains safe, reliable and operating at peak performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding, diagnosis and repair.
• Responding to breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects to increase equipment reliability and performance.
• Working closely with production and operational teams to maximise plant availability.
• Ensuring all maintenance work is completed in line with Health & Safety and food manufacturing standards.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with engineers who have:

• Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• A recognised engineering qualification.
• A proactive approach and the ability to solve problems under pressure.
• Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG is advantageous but not essential.
