Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

We are looking for a reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background to join the team.

You’ll be a key part of the crew keeping 11 production lines running across our two local sites on the outskirts of Hull and Grimsby.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fixing electrical and mechanical breakdowns quickly to keep production moving.  
• Looking for ways to stop the same machine faults from happening again.  
• Reading and working from electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings.  
• Helping to install and set up new machinery and systems.  
• Doing fabrication and repair work whenever it's needed.  
• Working with the production team to make the lines run smoother and more efficiently.  
• Keeping an eye on spare parts and stock levels so we always have what we need to fix a problem.  

What You Need

• A solid background in electrical systems (this is essential).  
• Experience working with pneumatic and hydraulic systems (this is a plus).  
• A history of working in manufacturing or sawmilling environments.  
• The ability to stay calm and focused when a machine goes down and the pressure is on.  
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude toward your work.
