Annual Earnings: £45,000 - £48,000 p/a
Benefit package: 31 Days Holiday including bank holidays, additional day annual leave after 2 years and +1 after 5 years, Sick pay scheme to offer 8 weeks full pay in 12 months, Health Cash plan with option to add family, 4x Life Assurance, 8% Pension, X1.5 Overtime in week and Saturday & X2 Sunday.

The Business:

  • Carry out electro-mechanical maintenance across converting and packaging machinery.
  • Respond to breakdowns, fault-finding and repairing equipment to minimise downtime and restore production.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and complete weekly checks on machinery and associated equipment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to engineering projects that improve line performance.
  • Install new equipment on an ad-hoc basis as the business continues to develop its manufacturing capability.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activity, PPM schedules, and equipment inspections.

Entry Requirements:

  • City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, ideally gained through a recognised apprenticeship.
  • 3+ years of experience in a maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Electrically biased with a strong working knowledge of mechanical maintenance as well as fault diagnosis.
  • Proven experience carrying out PPM and breakdown repair across converting, packaging, or similar production machinery ideally.
  • Comfortable working on installation and project-based activity in addition to day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance.
